Fiesta, the most collected dinnerware in the USA. Manufactured by Homer Laughlin Company of Newell, West Virginia, and designed by Frederick Rhead, Fiesta was introduced in 1936 in five colors: cobalt blue, yellow, light green, ivory and red (orange). Turquoise was added in 1937. In 1951, forest (dark) green, rose, gray, and chartreuse appeared, and, in 1959, medium green. Of course, over the years, scores of items were discontinued and others introduced, making many Fiesta pieces hard to come by ‚ a collector's dream.
