IN CONJUNCTION WITH

“THE ASIAN POSTER”
"Far Out, Far East: Pushing the Envelope of Asian Design"

"Far Out, Far East: Pushing the Envelope of Asian Design" a discussion with Jonathan Fong, interior decorator, author, and design expert on HGTV and USA Network home makeover programs. Asian design has come a long way since the days of standing a shoji screen in the corner or putting a big fan above the bed. Suddenly, Asian interior design is big. But what is it exactly, how do you get it, and do you want it” In this humorous visual presentation, Jonathan Fong explores this ever-expanding aesthetic and explains that Asian design is as vast and contradictory as the continent that inspired it. Hong Kong-born Fong will discuss some of the prevalent themes in Asian style; how to accent your home; a different look at Feng Shui that he calls Fong Shui; and his favorite shopping sources. He'll also share the secrets of home makeover shows gleaned from his experience on USA Network's "Before and Afternoon Movie" home design series.

“The Asian Poster” is on view through July 23, 2005.  Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M.
