One-man theater work: Abraham Lincoln in Two Miles a Penny, written by and starring Ed Trotta.

On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, at Mt. Rushmore, and in a parlor room of the White House, Abe Lincoln returns to life in this critically acclaimed production. The time is the present, and Honest Abe has been granted a dispensation from "belonging to the ages" in order to address the legends that surround our remembrance of him. He recalls his life and times with all the humor and anguish of both a masterful storyteller and "the Civil War President." Able to speak of the present from a perspective of the past, Lincoln also comments on money, power, and modern inventions, everything from ballpoint pens to terrorism.
