LEFT TURN AT NORMAL

Opening reception on Saturday, April 23 from 6–9pm
Track 16 Gallery is pleased to present Left Turn at Normal, an exhibition of new work by Gail Greenfield Randall. The exhibition will run through April 21 - May 7, 2011 with an opening reception on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 6–9 P.M. Regular gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday from noon to 6 P.M.
Gail Greenfield Randall's second solo show at Track 16 strengthens the theme of narrative collage. Her boxes, filled with vintage items -- tiny dolls, spools, bottles, advertising, even small birds -- tell stories of beauty, danger, longing and love. So too, Randall has redefined the genre of the wall mounted box, to include open top tables, small suitcases, and articulated figures made from limbs of vintage furniture. She is a story-teller, and the stories she has to tell are never ending, and compelling.
